The Highs and Lows of COVID-19Introduction
Everybody by now knows the words – Coronavirus or COVID-19. If you haven’t, you must live under a rock like Spongebob’s best friend, Patrick Star. It has caused a traumatic effect on the whole planet and its’ 7.7 billion citizens living there. There have been over 125 million cases of the virus and nearly 3 million have died. Where I am, in the UK, there have been nearly 4 million cases and over 125k deaths. For an island with a population less than 70 million that is quite significant. As you can see, this is a serious matter. And as a 12 year old student, it has affected my life with school, my family and friends and even my mental and physical health. Within this page we shall be sharing our feelings on Coronavirus, the good and bad sides of it all, online school and our wellbeing during this time. |
